A Supplier Quality Enginner is responsible to lead and coordinate the daily supplier quality activites on Northvolt production site to maintain and develop a world calss supplier base.

Lead the charge back process with suppliers

Requirements

You will be in charge of implementing the quality standards, procedures, Quality Control plans and quality management principles, supporting Production on shopfloor through problem solving and improvement projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring quality of our new product and will work closely with Production Engineering to follow-up and improve to ensure a flawless transition into manufacture and supply of our Li-ion cells. You are skilled in Problem solving, conducting improvement projects to resolve difficult and complex problems and optimise our processes.
The Production Quality Engineer will be an expert in quality management which includes deep knowledge in quality systems, i.e. ISO9001 and IATF16949, continuous improvement, quality control and assurance, process robustness, six sigma and monitoring of quality performance etc. You will play an important role to lead and co-ordinate quality monitoring and reporting, issue and crisis management as well as proactive quality planning and improvement.
In general, you have a long experience in quality management and problem solving. You are shopfloor and result-oriented engineer, and have been driving large, innovative and challenging improvement projects internally and with external partners in the area of quality, six sigma, qualification & validation, improvements, efficiency and optimisation. Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working and cooperating cross-functionally in a multicultural environment with Production, Maintenance, IT and Automation.
The candidate should be analytical and logical with an ability to identify opportunities and improvements to drive increased quality through data driven approaches, i.e. six sigma and statistical methodologies. The candidate should have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing PFMEA's, process flow charts and conducting MSAs
Defining and producing the Quality Control plans for each process operation
Set up quality monitoring procedures, quality KPI's, evaluate performance and make improvement proposals, i.e. Process capability: SPC and Cpk
Co-ordinate quality gate reviews in the Product Development process from start of design phase through to manufacturing of products
Oversee the Quality Control and testing plan, review results and process performance and initiate improvement projects
Lead trouble shooting and root cause analysis activities in relation to deviations and quality issues, e.g 8D and non-conformity investigations
Expert in complex problem solving and process optimisation, i.e skilled in DMAIC and DoE, multivariat data analysis etc.
Collaborate closely with Customer quality engineers to deliver required input to customer projects, e.g. PPAP documentation
Develop, implement and audit standard procedures and instructions
Facilitate DFMEA's and PFMEA's
Work across many parts of the organization, collaborating with the Battery Systems organization, technical, design and development teams, automation and external partners

Information om tjänsten
Som mjukvaruutvecklare så kommer du att ingå i ett ingenjörsteam som har ansvar för validering och testning. Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter kommer att innebära utveckling av verktyg för att lagra och visualisera data. Du kommer även att ta fram, tolka och leverera testresultat och rapporter från systemet som används. Teamet arbetar agilt och du kommer att ingå i en kompetent och social grupp av ingenjörer, mjukvarutestare och testoperatörer.  

Personprofil

• Civilingenjör- eller kandidatexamen inom elektroteknik eller motsvarande
• Två års erfarenhet av liknande arbetsuppgifter
• Erfarenhet av Python och Git samt kännedom om hur man tar fram och presenterar data
• Kunskaper inom signalbehandling, t.ex. bildbehandling, radar och/eller lidar

Supporting the Electrical Discipline Lead and gathering the electrical design requirements from the different disciplines.

Preparation or reviewing of power system studies such as load flows, short circuit studies, arc flash and protection coordination studies and motor starting and harmonic studies.
Preparation or reviewing of electrical equipment load schedules, to size and design the electrical equipment.
Coordinating between electrical design and other discipline designs including the review and approval of associated electrical drawings.

Attendance in design meetings and inter-disciplinary BIM/model reviews or 2D drawing reviews.
Client representative at FATs for electrical equipment and during the SAT/commissioning of the electrical switchgear
Creation or reviewing of SLDs, schematics, electrical design procedures, electrical design specifications and associated typical drawings i.e. Northvolt factory blueprint electrical design.
