Key responsibilities include
Adhere to and ensure 5S and safety protocols are maintained within the laboratory work environment. Always work with safety as first priority.
Execute work instructions accurately and follow protocol.
Mentor less senior personnel on practical aspects of the analysis methods such as sample preparation and running instruments.
Understand and execute the testing plans for material, incoming parts, product intermediates and finalized products.
Organize test results in the expected template and/or LIMS system; maintain control charts.
Help identify problems with test material, analysis methods, and instrumentation
Be able to troubleshoot instrument basic and advance problems; utilizing the help of suppliers or experts for more major issues.
Understand the fundamentals of method development and validation and participate in the execution side.
Perform testing with measuring instruments, perform basic data analysis, interpret data and report data/results as instructed.
Execute method improvement plans for the different measurements and be able to write standard procedure operations
Take part in purchasing and commissioning of an instrument including SAT work.
Maintain the instruments to a high standard
Strict adherence to Quality Assurance in Quality Control Principles



Qualifications/education/experience
Bachelor ?s degree (or technical school degree) in a technical field
Previous experience from quality control of details from automotive industry (preferred).
Specific knowledge of quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949, TQM (preferred)
Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma concepts
Familiar with SPC, FMEA, Quality troubleshooting tools and problem-solving methodology
Curious, technically educated and preferably with a strong business background

In conjunction with the other team members, client team, OEM, and other suppliers, develop detailed solutions to the identified issues, taking account of all safety requirements related to the item of machinery.
Support the Continuous Improvement Managers to develop and maintain the consolidated “Open Item” list.
Support with the writing of technical specifications for the required modifications and the review of RFQ returns where additional orders need to be placed.
Supervision of the physical modifications as they are carried out in the defined non-production time, ensuring they are carried out in a safe manner.
Own and lead commissioning activities related to the installed modifications and support the handover for the item of equipment back to manufacturing.
Ensure all the machinery documentation is updated to reflect the changes that have been made. This will include the current maintenance procedures and additional maintenance activities developed because of the improvement.

About the job
A Production Quality Engineer at Northvolt is responsible for ensuring quality of our new product. About You

Lead day-to-day quality control activities in production ensuring that production/product quality specifications are met.

Operate various analytical equipment such as ICP, KF and acid-base titrators, rheometers, BET, GC-MS, SEM, XRD, PSD, CT scanner, dimension measurement systems (2D and 3D), optical microscopes, tensile testers, etc.
Improve control checks according to control plan.
Interpret data and report data/results vs specification
Report problems and non-conformities (NCRs) that are detected and recommend the improvements.

Education/Experience
Bachelor´s degree (or technical school degree) in Chemical or Material Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Experience from quality control and assurance on the manufacturing shop floor
Experience in yearly, monthly, weekly and up to date reporting
Specific knowledge of quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949, TQM

Since our factory in Skellefteå still is being constructed, you will start your journey in Västerås for training before relocating to Skellefteå and Northvolt Ett. You will join the Quality team in Västerås to be trained to independently run advanced instruments and equipment in laboratory and get familiar with the Northvolt environment before you relocate to our Gigafactory in Skellefteå

We will support you in terms of relocating to Västerås and back to Skellefteå.

Arbetsuppgifter

Som handläggande styrkonstruktör på WSP ansvarar du för att föra projektet framåt och i vissa fall i samarbete med styrkonstruktör. Du ansvarar du för den tekniska lösningen, kvalitén och ekonomin för ditt uppdrag. Du visar en god förståelse för VVS och EL.
Du har även ansvar för att samordna ditt arbete med övriga projektdeltagare och handleder konstruktörer och biträdande konstruktörer i deras arbete.

Du deltar i projekteringsmöten och samordningsmöten ute på plats eller via Skype med övriga discipliner i projektet då du ofta arbetar tillsammans med andra medarbetare inom EL och VVS. Du driver även flera projekt på egen hand där du har ansvar för att samordna ditt arbete med övriga projektdeltagare. Du granskar andra styrprojektörers arbete med god kvalitet.

Arbetet omfattar främst projektering av styrhandlingar, vilket innebär framtagande av driftkort samt tekniska beskrivningar enligt AMA och ramhandlingar. I många projekt ställs krav från beställare via projekteringsunderlag/anvisning. I arbetet ingår att tolka och genomföra handlingar utefter beställarens krav. Ofta driver du flera projekt parallellt.

Samarbete och kommunikation är en god väg för ett lyckat resultat av projekteringen. Du kommer få stor möjlighet att påverka energianvändningen på smarta sätt.

Vem är du?

Vi ser att du har minst tre års yrkeserfarenhet som konstruktör från branschen som konsult, från entreprenörsledet eller annan tjänst i branschen. Du kanske arbetar som konstruktör eller handledande konstruktör idag men söker nya karriärutmaningar.

Du har erfarenhet av att ha utfört eller deltagit i besiktning och samordnad funktionsprovning. Du är förtrogen med de normalt förekommande styrsystemen för fastighetsstyr.Meriterande för rollen är om du har erfarenhet av projektering i Magic CAD och- eller Visio.
