Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society by building one of the first large scale European battery factories. In this role, you will play an important part in fulfilling our mission.
The Senior Manager Maintenance will be in charge of development and execution of the Maintenance Strategy for the Downstream Area. As leader of the unit, you will have the opportunity to build a qualified and dependable team, capable to scale Northvolt's operations in Sweden and beyond. You will be in charge of setting up and executing the long-term Maintenance Strategy for a dedicated area reporting to the NV Ett Maintenance Manager.
You will be working closely with the construction, commissioning and operations team with installation, commissioning, ramp-up and continuous improvements. Our aim is to be world leading in safety, cost and production efficiency.
In general, you have a long experience in the field and have been driving large, innovative and challenging production and/or maintenance units with high demands on production and quality.
Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working in a fast-moving environment and the sense of urgency.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implement, manage, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
Manage budget for dedicated area
Overall responsible for development and execution of maintenance strategy in downstream area

Responsible for developing the "4Ms" within the area – Manning, Machine, Method and Materials

Rollen som projektledare hos oss innebär att säkerställa en fantastisk kundupplevelse vid leverans av elkraftanläggningar innehållande allt från 130kV till lågspänning och styrsystem. I praktiken innebär det att leda och driva alla delar av projekten. Exempelvis:
•Stöd till försäljningsingenjörer med kontrakt, arbetsmiljö, ekonomi och planeringsfrågor.
•Diskussioner och förhandlingar med beställare.
•Drivning av tidplaner, kontrakt, resurstillsättning, ekonomi och kvalitetssäkring.
•Arbetsledning av övriga projektdeltagare såsom elkonstruktörer, programmerare och drifttagare.
•Inköp och drivning av gränssnitt mot underleverantörer av exempelvis elinstallation, ställverk, transformatorer, markarbeten och byggarbeten.
•Riskbedömningar och förebyggande av olyckor och tillbud.
•Uppföljning och support till beställare efter färdig leverans.
•Utveckling av verksamhetens tjänster och strategier.
I mindre projekt är det vanligt att man har ett bredare ansvarsområde, medan det i större projekt fungerar bättre med en högre specialisering varvid varje person kan fokusera mer på de områden där man är mer erfaren.
Rollen är krävande men också rolig, dels eftersom man får följa ett projekt från uppstart till färdig anläggning men även för att man tillsammans med beställaren får utforma anläggningen.
Projektledare rapporterar till Project Operations Manager för local business line Mining i Sverige och är en del av vårt projektkontor med åtta projektledare placerade på ABB’s kontor i Norrland från Umeå till Kiruna.
Kvalifikationer för rollen
En ingenjörsexamen eller motsvarande utbildning/arbetslivserfarenhet.
Bakgrund inom projektledning, helst minst 2 år.
Erfarenhet av att driva industriella projekt är meriterande.
Du är resultatinriktad, strategisk och har en strukturerad arbetsmetodik.

Ensure projects are executed according to budgeted time, cost and scope/quality.

Your background

As Service Project management manager and you will build and manage a newly formed department in our Swedish Electrification Service organization.

In this role you own the processes and resources for Service project management and planning activities that take place before our three regional teams of field service engineers are dispatched for site activities.

Your responsibilities
Disciplinary leadership of the department of Service project managers, Service coordinators, contract managers and team of administration & operative purchasing, which is led by a team leader under your supervision.
Develop and continuously improve processes for project management, service coordination and service contract management.
Own the execution of project management and coordination of service jobs to enable successful site operation by the Field service engineer teams.
Ensure the completion of Method statements and Risk assessments before work is dispatched to Field service engineers.
Work closely with customers to shape our delivery process and utilize feedback to deliver improvements and maintain customer satisfaction.
Ensure opportunity assessments are performed after delivery of projects and contracts to capture business opportunities and improvements for customers.
Follow up on operational KPI’s and drive improvements to ensure projects are delivered cost efficiently and timely with high quality for our customers.
Ensure that the department is adequately resourced and equipped, including formulating plans and allocating resources.
Ensure your team gets adequate guiding, coaching and conditions to grow, perform and thrive at work.

Your background
Minimum 5 years of project management experience with increasing responsibility and scope, preferably for delivery of Services to energy, utilities, metals & mining, or manufacturing industries.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience as line manager.
Experience working with, or managing projects including, electrical installation and services for medium and/or low voltage products and systems is an advantage.
Good understanding of electrical infrastructure and design.
Experience in collaboration and negotiations with customers and suppliers.
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
Travelling required approximately ~20%.

As a Field Supervisor for Malå & Jörn you will be the immediate manager for a group of service technicians and responsible for carrying out the company strategy in this area.

Your background
Minimum 5 years of experience working with service business.
Electrical/ Mechanical engineering background or other relevant education along with a genuine interest in service business is advantageous.
You have a record of successful leadership style, motivational and enthusing (formal or informal).
You have previously held responsibility as line manager.
Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing for installed base and new projects.
Experience from the mining industry is a plus, but not required.

Main focus and target will be profitable growth of our service business supported by your own team as well as the local Hoisting organization.
In this role you will report to the Local Product Line Manager Hoisting and in addition have a functional reporting line to the Global Product Line Service Manager Hoisting. You will be located in either Västerås or Skellefteå.
Your responsibilities
Your main mission will be to meet your targets for volume growth and profitability. You will have a delegated profit and loss responsibility for the Service business.
Manage and develop your Service team and ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, resourced and supervised.
Implement the global service strategy locally, including introduction of new services.
Drive Service achievements through effective planning and allocation of resources in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
Establish long term customer relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding the requirements and needs.
Drive consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback.
Ensure compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives, and ensure instructions and regulations are implemented well within the team (including subcontractors), while monitoring and reporting progress and results. Assess risks and safety hazards and implement actions to ensure people and equipment safety.

Your background
Minimum 5 years of experience working with service business.
Electrical/ Mechanical engineering background or other relevant education along with a genuine interest in service business.
Previous manager and leadership experience is meriting.
Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing for installed base and new projects.
Experience from the mining or pulp and paper industry is a plus, but not required.
As a leader, you are driven, innovative, persistent and proactive. You are also a true team player who thrives in a multicultural environment. With your collaborative and communicative skills, you have the ability to inspire your team to great performance to meet the goals.

Utveckla underhållsteknik i absolut teknisk framkant.

Avdelningen för underhållsteknik på Boliden fungerar som en internkonsult med uppdrag att utveckla underhållsprocesser, underhållssystem och tekniska hjälpmedel som bidrar till lokal utveckling av underhållsresultat med hög driftsäkerhet. Kort och gott - underhållsteknik verkar som ett tekniskt expertstöd mot samtliga driftsavdelningar inom Boliden.

Som avdelningschef blir dina övergripande arbetsuppgifter att utveckla och ansvara för personal, arbetsmetoder och system inom underhållsteknik. Du koordinerar de 13 underhållsingenjörer som du har under dig så att rätt person åker på det uppdrag givet hens expertkompetens. På plats bidrar ingenjörerna med sin kunskap och genomför tekniska utredningar.

Det pågår spännande teknikutveckling av autonoma och elektrifierade mobila maskiner, i samverkan med leverantörer och universitet/högskolor. Driftsäkerhet är en förutsättning för autonom drift. I detta arbetet så kommer underhåll att spela en avgörande roll, så om du brinner för innovation, ny teknik och att utveckla verksamhet så kan vi lova att du kommer att trivas i den här rollen.

Som avdelningschef får du dessutom en inflytelserik plats i ledningsgruppen som består av sju personer med olika expertkunskaper som tillsammans strävar efter att utveckla och effektivisera affären för teknik. Med andra ord - här får du goda möjligheter att driva egna projekt på de områden som du ser förbättringspotential!

Utbildning/Erfarenhet

Vi söker en kommunikativ och engagerad ledare

För att bli framgångsrik i rollen som avdelningschef för underhållsteknik krävs det att du har någon typ av relevant ingenjörsutbildning i ryggen. Önskvärt är civilingenjör inom maskinteknik, men om du är en duktig högskoleingenjör så uppmuntrar vi även dig att söka! Är du certifierad Asset Manager eller underhållschef så är det meriterande. Vidare behöver du ha erfarenhet från tung industri - det behöver inte nödvändigtvis vara inom gruvindustrin, ansökningar från metallindustrin eller massa- och pappersindustrin välkomnas också!

Skulle det dessutom vara så att du har arbetat i ett EAM-system, vi använder Maximo, så är du en guldkandidat i våra ögon!

I din roll ingår det att leda och utveckla ett gäng unga ingenjörer så det är av största vikt att du är en kommunikativ person och en naturlig ledare. Slutligen tänker vi oss att du skicklig på att bygga och upprätthålla goda relationer - både med interna och externa kontakter.

Du uttrycker dig väl i tal och skrift, både på svenska och engelska. Har du dessutom finska språkkunskunskaper så ser vi det som en bonus! Körkort B är ett krav.

Plan, direct, and monitor all production activities within the process area to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; safety, quality, deliveries and efficiency, cost, people.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Develop and implement strategy, tactics and policy deployment for the process block area based on the NV Ett strategy.
· Develop and/or implement manufacturing procedures and allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity and yield.
· Analyze production and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions (for example changes to procedures, workflow, or equipment) that will improve performance.
· Liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example in planning, logistics, maintenance, technology, quality) and together understand current and future needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.
· Together with maintenance plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
· Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of Shift managers who are responsible for various production activities such as, machine operation, processing, assembly or packaging.
· Has full managerial responsibility for multiple shift teams. Work is normally carried out in an indirect manner (as 'grandparent') and by setting organizational targets.
· Be part of developing new methods, tools and processes. Responsible for implementation in own area and sharing of best practices.
· Ensure adherence to Northvolt Code of Conduct, applicable legislation and established policies and guidelines within area of responsibility.

Qualifications/education/experience
· Bachelor of science in mechanical/industrial engineering
· Proven Leadership in manufacturing Organizations
· Experience in the modern Operations Management principles: Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma,
· Documented leadership training
