We are looking for students who want to try their experiences with us in Tietoevry. An internship with us involves working on a long-term project as part of a team. The projects originate in dialogue with our customers and are based on real-life problems. Their assignments range from developing apps or researching a new concept to finding out how new technology can be applied to solve a problem.

When joining Tietoevry as an intern

Who we are looking for
You have good communicative properties, fluent language skills in Swedish and English.
You have the Ability to work full-time for 15-25 weeks.
You are an enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected Bachelor or Master graduation.
You are currently majoring in one of the following core disciplines; Software Development, Project Management, Digital infrastructure, Business analysis, User Experience Design, or equivalent.
You must be able to start your internship physically at our office.
You can work independently with an excellent work ethic.
You have interest and enthusiasm related to the IT and Tech fields.

Take on this challenge and contribute to the development of next generation´s Welfare solutions. Within the Elderly Care Product Development department, we create tomorrow’s software applications for cloud and on-premise installations.
As our new senior software developer, you will play a key role in continuing our long Agile journey. You will be part of the complete product development process that includes all steps from coding to maintenance and delivery. You will be focusing on continuous improvement when it comes to development process, learning, transparency, quality, and speed within your own team and across our team´s in Nordics, Poland, and India.
You hold a degree in relevant field, combined with at least three years of experience developing software. You also have solid knowledge and experience in one or more of the following frameworks or technologies: C#, .NET, HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, Server and IIS. Knowledge and experience of iOS, API first, test driven development, test automation and continuous integration is valued.
You are an engaged and open-minded team player, but you also have a pro-active approach and take responsibility on an individual level. You are driven to learn and often find yourself thinking outside the box. You are self-motivated and value accountability in yourself and in others. You aren’t afraid to show pride about your own achievements.
If you also have experience of working as a Scrum Master you are the one we are looking for.

Tietoevry is one of the leading companies within mobile communication development and Skellefteå is now expanding into the Cloud RAN area with cloud-native software in the RAN. It will add more versatility to network buildouts and address a variety of 5G use cases.?
The project is about virtualization of the traffic control software of the radio access network and entails the migration from custom-built network nodes to Cloud Native network functionality on bare metal servers.

Who are you?
You have excellent skills in English, are experienced with agile way of working and have good skills in several of these areas:

Your educational background is M.Sc. / B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar.
