- Develop the detailed Commissioning planning for the Upstream process and associated supporting process utilities and waste treatment facilities.

- Develop the Commissioning planning, structure, and all other necessary project events to support the commissioning of the scope.

- Develop the commissioning schedule for the scope to be integrated into the overarching NV project plan, integrating NV equipment vendors, 3rd parties, or internal NV groups as required.

- Build the Upstream Commissioning team, identify, recruit, manage, and coordinate project commissioning resources from Northvolt, the Integration Contractors, and suppliers to ensure delivery during both the planning and execution phases.

- Drive the day-to-day execution, tracking, control, and performance of commissioning at the site, for the scope, meaning driving equipment and systems commissioning.

- Monitor and control of completion and commissioning at the site, reporting KPIs and progress as required by NV to ensure delivery of the scope.

- Ensure all relevant environmental, health, and safety standards are being followed, encouraging a positive health and safety culture.

- Arrange the handover of all relevant commissioning documentation, model data, and required certification including both NV and legal requirements to the Manufacturing team.

Northvolt has an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality control engineer to join our bold project team to play a key role in evaluating the incoming details, intermediate and final products for Northvolt production and development of Li-ion cells. We are looking for our plant in Skellefteå.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in establishing the Quality Control laboratory of the first large scale European factory for Li-ion cells. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. We are continuously building a team of experienced engineers and great leaders with industry background.
In your role you will be developing, defining and implementing the inspection methods for evaluating the incoming details, intermediate and final products for Production. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing quality standards, procedures and documentation associated with the manufacturing inspection techniques. You will also be responsible for reviewing quality data, MSA studies and work with the R&D team to evaluate and compare product quality including participating into RCAs.
The Quality Control Engineer-OpEx Team should be an expert and/or having experience in interpretation of drawings, measuring methods, vision systems, potentially advanced NDT methods and instruments. You will play an important role to support Research & Development and Production teams in measuring, improving product quality, collaborating with Quality and Production teams.
In general, you have strong statistical background and a long experience in quality control with different measuring & inspection techniques and work independently with a good sense of responsibility and commitment and are used to structure your work in an efficient way. Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working and cooperating cross-functionally in a multicultural environment with Supply Chain/Procurement, R&D, Quality and Production. You will be based at the facility in Skellefteå.
You should be analytical and logical with an ability to identify opportunities and improvements to drive increased quality through data driven approaches. Strong technical abilities are needed in order to succeed in this role.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Start-up of first measuring methods and instruments
Searching, validating and implementing new inspection methods and technologies together with potential suppliers
Develop and document methods and procedures for dimension measurements
of incoming details and product intermediates together with R&D
Run testing on a range of instruments and report data/results
Experience in drawing, CMM, Computed Tomography, X-ray and imaging systems.
Strong Statistical Background
Experience in MSA and Validation Studies
Execute the Quality Control and testing plan of incoming details, product intermediates and finalized products.
Maintain the instruments to a high standard
Work across many parts of the organization, collaborating with R&D technical team, Process engineering, Supply Chain, IT & automation.

The person we are looking for is a team player, curious and eager to learn. A background within battery, materials testing, materials science and materials engineering is very good to have. Especially the ability to manage method development and experience with validation.

Som styr- och reglertekniker hos Norrmejerier arbetar du med felsökning i PLC-system och planerat underhåll samt mekaniska reparationer. Arbetsuppgifter

Som vår nya Produktionstekniker kommer du att arbeta med alla delar i vår produktion, med produktionsflöden inklusive flödesanalys samt produktionsutveckling och processteknik.
Du kommer leda stora och små projekt i syfte att förbättra och utveckla vår produktion.
I rollen kommer du ha ett nära samarbete med produktionsledningen och vara ett produktionstekniskt bollplank till våra konstruktörer. Internt kommer du att vara en av våra Lean-specialister.
Kortfattat kan man säga att du är en viktig resurs när det gäller att utveckla tekniska lösningar som säkerställer att vi kan producera och leverera produkter med rätt kvalitet och i rätt tid.
Du kommer ingå i vår Produktionsavdelning som består av 7 personer och du rapporterar direkt till vår Produktionschef.

Vem är du?

Vi tror du har en ingenjörsexamen med teknisk inriktning och ett stort intresse för teknik och produktion. Vi söker dig som har flerårig erfarenhet av produktionstekniskt arbete i linjeorganisation och som brinner för problemlösning, ständiga förbättringar och effektivisering. Du har goda kunskaper i LEAN och ständiga förbättringar och har erfarenhet av produktion samt god förmåga att se hela produktionsflödet. Det är viktigt att du känner stort ansvar för ditt arbete, tar egna initiativ och jobbar målmedvetet och strukturerat mot verksamhetens mål.
I rollen behöver du ha god datorvana och det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av affärssystemet Jeeves och viss kunskap i CAD.
Du har goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift.
Körkort och tillgång till bil ett krav.
